1. What cookies do
Cookies and similar browser storage allow a site to remember a limited choice or support a session. They are small data records associated with a browser, not a public profile. Gajema uses them conservatively and does not use them to create financial or behavioral offers.
A cookie usually contains a name, value, expiry date, and technical attributes. It does not by itself identify a person unless combined with information supplied through another channel. Browser storage can be cleared by the visitor at any time.
2. Essential operation
Essential technologies support navigation, security, and basic delivery. They may be created by the hosting environment and normally last only for a session or a short operational period. Blocking them can affect the way some pages behave.
Examples include a session identifier lasting until the browser session ends and a security record lasting up to 24 hours. These technologies are used to deliver requested pages, limit abusive requests, and remember temporary operational state. They are not used to build an advertising audience.
3. Preference record
The cookieChoice browser key records whether a visitor selected Accept or Reject on the notice. It remains until the visitor clears site data or chooses a new preference. It does not contain a name, email address, wallet address, or payment detail.
The preference record is designed to last up to 12 months. If the notice wording or purposes change materially, the choice may be requested again. A visitor can clear it through browser settings and then select a different option.
4. Optional measurement
Optional analytics are not required to read the site. If introduced, they will be enabled only with a clear explanation and consent mechanism describing provider, purpose, data categories, and lifespan. This policy will be updated before such a change.
Any optional measurement would use aggregated page activity such as approximate visit counts, referring category, and page response performance. It would not be used to infer investment interests or identify individual readers. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting ordinary editorial access.
5. Third parties
Embedded content or linked services may set their own technologies when a visitor leaves Gajema. Their policies control that activity. We do not place advertising trackers on editorial pages.
Hosting, security, consent, and measurement providers may process technical request data under their own service arrangements. A visitor should review the provider notice before enabling an embedded feature. Gajema does not provide contact-form data to advertisers.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers allow visitors to delete existing cookies, block new ones, or receive a notice before storage occurs. Controls differ by browser and device. Deleting the preference record may cause the notice to appear again.
Private browsing modes may delete session records when the window closes. Blocking all storage can affect navigation or prevent the preference from being remembered, but the main editorial pages remain intended to be readable. Browser extensions may also alter behavior.
7. Consent
Optional choices are voluntary. Rejecting them does not prevent access to ordinary editorial pages. A visitor may change the browser choice by clearing the stored record or contacting the editorial desk.

8. Changes
This policy was reviewed on 22 September 2026. A previous review on 1 June 2026 clarified the preference key and session duration. Material changes will be dated here before optional technologies are introduced.
Cookie details and controls
The current operational categories are session technology, short-lived security controls, and the cookieChoice preference record. A session item ends when the browser session ends or when the hosting environment expires it. A security item may remain for up to 24 hours to help identify repeated abusive requests. The cookieChoice key may remain for up to 12 months and stores only the visitor’s choice.
Gajema does not use cookies to store private keys, wallet credentials, payment information, or the contents of a contact message. A cookie may be accompanied by ordinary request data in server logs, but the cookie itself is not a public identity profile. If optional analytics are introduced, the provider, purpose, cookie names, retention period, and consent method will be described before activation.
Visitors can block, delete, or restrict cookies through browser controls. Blocking essential session technology may affect navigation or form behavior, while rejecting optional measurement should not prevent access to editorial pages. Clearing site data can remove the preference record and cause the notice to appear again.
Third-party hosting, security, consent-management, or measurement services may set or receive technical identifiers only where needed for their stated function. Such services may process data outside the Republic of Korea under their own published terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Gajema does not permit a third party to repurpose the cookieChoice record for unrelated advertising.
